Rescued swan, Franky, dies from dog attack injuries days after rescue near Forres in Moray, Scotland.

Franky had dog bites on her neck. She received antibiotics and pain relief. The SPCA cared for her at their facility. She stayed there to heal.
Lynn Cruickshank and Mich Mann rescued Franky. These animal rescue officers caught the swan. She avoided capture for two days. They finally got her.
Cruickshank said Franky swam strongly, despite injuries. They needed a boat to reach her. After a long boat chase, Cruickshank hooked her. Franky was exhausted from the chase.
Her neck wounds looked really bad. The base of her neck was swollen. She went to the wildlife rescue center. Vets saw her quickly there.
