Enjoy cakes and coffee in a South African inspired setting, owned by Beverley Botha on High Street.

Beverley Botha owns the shop. She is 42 and misses South Africa’s sun. Beverley now loves life in Andover, and she is part of the town’s BID.
Beverley values her customers and works hard for high standards. She wants good quality products. Small businesses need support now, as high streets are vital.
Beverley runs the business with her family. Her husband is Greg Power, age 45, and her kids are Sophia, Trixi-Belle, and James. They are 14, 17, and 20.
Family inspired her baking. Her mom and grandma taught her. Sophia has a dairy allergy since 2010, so Beverley wanted her to enjoy treats.
Beverley was let go while pregnant and needed to support her family. She baked again when Sophia was nine months old. It was a tough time, she said.
Beverley baked for school events first, then looked for a shop location. She moved from Bridge Street to High Street top. The Guildhall can be seen from there.
She believes things happen for a reason. They have been there three years and have a ten-year lease. They feel happy with the support.
She came to the UK in 2002, and the shop made her feel at home. South Africa is part of the shop. They sell cakes, coffee, and biltong. Mrs H. S. Ball’s Chutney is also stocked.
They expanded the South African range. Customers requested Creme Soda, and Beverley got it for them. She wants to surprise customers. She is always thinking of new things.
