Join Sue Ryder’s “Lap the Lake” May 10 for International Nurses Day raise funds for hospice care.

The event happens May 10 at Reading Lake, leading up to International Nurses Day on May 12. People can swim to raise money for Sue Ryder. You can swim 500m, 750m, or even 1km, with all money going to the Sue Ryder hospice in Reading.
Ashni Parmar, a senior fundraiser at Sue Ryder, thinks “Lap the Lake” is very exciting. The event helps enjoy the natural beauty nearby, as people support a good cause together.
Every swim and fundraising bit helps Sue Ryder keep caring for people and supporting those who need it. Anna Hassall, a volunteer coordinator at Sue Ryder, always finds ways to support the organization’s work.
Anna loves to swim, making this event perfect for her, even though she usually enjoys a warm pool.
Teams of five or more get 15% off registration. The top fundraiser gets a Dryrobe item as a thank you for their fundraising.
