A bus got stuck in Swindon, blocking a road after struggling to navigate parked cars near a roundabout.

This makes the road super narrow for buses! Buses must drive onto the roundabout’s edge. Daniel Adams, a local councillor, says trouble starts here. He explains buses struggle with the tight roundabout.
Cars parked there force buses onto the center. The grass gets ruined, creating deep ruts. A bus got stuck badly and needed a tow truck. The stuck bus and cars blocked the road.
A rescue truck then came to get the bus. Adams wants double yellow lines to stop roundabout parking. Adams has worked a year on this roundabout issue and wants those yellow lines to help buses turn safely.
However, the council cited budget problems and declined. Residents are angry about the damaged land and bus delays. Bus drivers are also stressed by this obstacle course. One bus company even paid to rescue a bus.
Adams, being a bus driver, understands the drivers’ struggles. He thinks preventing parking here prevents future problems. Implementing this measure makes good sense.
