Salisbury St Edmunds has a high crime rate, 148 per 1000. Chippenham Lowden & Rowden reports 150 per 1000. Police increased officer visibility, the Police Commissioner reported, and targeted patrols address anti-social behavior.
They added CCTV, better lighting, and community patrols. Police talk sessions find risky areas. Police and partners are working together.
Swindon’s MPs want a better town center, and a council officer called it “poor quality.” The council plans to bring in more business. They hope to improve daily life.

Complete crime eradication is impossible, but the Commissioner wants to improve public safety helping those living, working, and visiting Wiltshire.
