Kristopher Kicks faced court for damaging a police van with his blood after an arrest in Swindon. He was fined £120.

On January 7, Kicks was being transported to jail in a police van when he started hitting his head inside, causing himself to bleed. He then smeared blood around the van cage.
Mr. Ballinger stated that the van needed cleaning and was out of service as a result. He requested Kicks to pay £300 for the cleaning.
Mr. Hotson explained that Kicks was frustrated because his arrest felt unfair and the police action seemed too harsh. Notably, the arrest charges were later dropped by the police.
Kicks was not connected to the reason for the arrest, and the only charge brought against him was smearing blood. He spent 17 hours in jail, having been arrested around 8:20 pm.
In November, Kicks admitted to other prior crimes, including assault, theft, and damage. These offenses involved stealing from Aldi and Nando’s. As a consequence, he had to do community service for 18 months and also pay £419.
He has been making good progress with probation, consistently attending every scheduled meeting.
The court imposed a fine of £120 on Kicks, along with £85 in costs. However, the court determined that he did not need to pay, as his time in jail covered it. He is required to continue working with probation.
