Myles and Max Fisher, plus Devonte O’Brien appeared in court. Zac Stride was there too. The Fishers were 22 and 18. O’Brien was 19. Stride was 18.

They admitted to affray. Police got a report of a fight at the Steam Railway pub. This happened July 10, 2024, around 10:25 pm.

The fight started inside where Myles punched some men, and CCTV showed this. Others joined the fight. It moved outside to the street.

Witnesses saw the punching and shouting, during which someone’s nose got broken.

Myles felt pressured because he was outnumbered, and Max saw his brother bleeding, so he joined in. Myles had also used cocaine and alcohol but stopped both after his arrest.

O’Brien watched football in the beer garden but chose to get involved in the fight.

Stride had the “worst record,” which involved drugs and weapons. His lawyer called him a “fool” who needed to “grow up.”

The judge noted their prior offenses, saying they showed “pro-criminal attitudes,” especially when they drank together. He also worried about their “casual view of weapons,” and wanted them to grow up, hoping they would change their attitudes.

The judge said they stayed out of trouble since December 20, 2024 and that he had delayed sentencing to see if they would change. They used that time well, and he thought they could change for the better.

The judge gave them a suspended sentence of 12 months, suspended for two years. They must do 175 hours of unpaid work and also need to do rehabilitation. Each must pay £750.

Myles and Stride must do alcohol treatment. The men, except for the brothers, can’t contact each other for one year. The judge said he did not want to see them again.
