Water outage hits homes after a pipe burst. A bottled water station opens in Swindon for residents.

The burst affected places like Cricklade and Cirencester. Homes there had no water. Thames Water said the fix could take a while. At first, they sent bottled water to some homes, but the problem was bigger than they thought.
So, they opened a water pickup spot at Go Outdoors on Oxford Road in Swindon. People should go there to get bottled water. That spot was the only drive-through place open on Sunday.
Even though the water issue reached Gloucestershire, Thames Water knows it is far for some people. They had to find a safe location.
Thames Water knows losing water is annoying. They will work hard to fix things fast. Schools might even close on Monday, depending on updates.
One person had been without water since Saturday. She thinks Thames Water’s service isn’t great. Workers are pumping out flood water to reach the pipes.
Thames Water is sorry for the delay this is causing. Because of where the break is, repairs will take time. But they are trying hard to restore water quickly. The issue was still ongoing at 4 PM on Sunday.
