Police evacuated a school and homes in Swindon after responding to a reported malicious threat. Residents were frustrated.

Like, tons of police cars showed up, maybe fifteen. Specialist police were there too. They closed off Rainscombe Road with tape. The area around the school was a no-go zone.
Cops knocked on doors and told people to leave their homes right away. Folks didn’t know when they could return. People were a little frustrated, you know?
One resident was worried and wanted answers from police. Another resident mentioned it was freezing outside. They also had kids with them while they were waiting.
Even the Co-Op grocery store got shut down. The police put out a statement about it. Swindon Police said they got a report that someone made a malicious threat to the school.
Specialist officers arrived because of the threat. The school did their emergency evacuation plan. This was just to be super careful though, you know? They made that 200-meter safety zone.
More news would be coming, the police said. The school posted on Facebook, saying everyone was safe. Parents had to pick up kids nearby on Biddestone Ave.
