He rode a motocross bike without a helmet and drove with no license. O’Brien also drove without due care. He admitted these things on December 16 at Swindon Magistrates’ Court. The case was heard on February 11, and sentencing will happen next month.
Police found O’Brien had cannabis on October 12, possessing 64.5 grams of the drug. Later, on December 15, he had more cannabis, this time 500 grams of it.
On December 15, he had a machete and a flick knife. He rode an electric motocross bike on Havelock Street without a helmet. O’Brien lacked insurance at the time, and police charged him with careless driving too.
His sentencing is set for March 11 at Swindon Magistrates’ Court. He has conditional bail until then.
