The Perkin Warbeck pub has a beer fest. It’s on East Street in Taunton. The festival lasts twelve days, starting March 5 and ending March 16.

They will offer thirty real ales, with five coming from other countries. These beers are new to the pub, and some will be vegan, making them suitable for vegetarians too.

Female brewers from Italy, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, and the USA made the special ales. The Perkin Warbeck is Taunton’s only Wetherspoon.

The festival beers feature different malts and hop varieties from all over. Some drinks even have cherries or cocoa beans; each pint costs £2.15.

Hey Pal comes from the USA’s Terrapin Brewery. Land & Sea Brewery in Canada makes Estuary Session Ale. Penny Red Brewery, Australia, makes Wallaby. Birra Perugia Brewery, Italy, offers Chocolate Porta, while New Zealand’s Brew Moon makes Antiopdean.

Rooster’s creates Alpha Female; Batemans brews Loopy Loo. Vale makes Chase the Sun, and Greene King has Cherry Nice. St Austell offers Queen of Hearts. Elgood’s makes Mocha Porter, Hook Norton brews Grand Union, and Black Sheep offers Blossom.

The pub manager spoke about the festival, thinking it’s a great real ale celebration. They will showcase superb beers during the festival, including ones from far away places. He noted the beers are available at good prices.

You can find descriptions of the beers in the pub and the festival magazine. The Wetherspoon app and website show it too. You can order the ales at the bar, or through the Wetherspoon app.
