Teen Arrested After Car Thefts in Lurgan, Multiple Streets Targeted
These things happened overnight between February 21st and 22nd. The incidents involved a lot of different streets.
Someone took a license and bank card; this happened on Richmount Gardens. Another car on Avondale Green lost more items, including a license, passport, meds, jewelry and an e-scooter.
Thieves stole from a car in Ashdene Park; a license and two cards disappeared. Some cars got broken into on Drumlin Drive and Monbrief Walk, though nothing got stolen from those cars.
Someone damaged a car, which also occurred on Monbrief Walk. Police arrested the 16-year-old, who is helping them with their questions now.

Local councillor Mary O’Dowd spoke out and condemned these theft incidents, noting that eight vehicles got broken into and damaged, and that people have suffered losses.
