A second teen was arrested following emails that caused school lockdowns in Kent. Investigation ongoing.

It sounds like a pretty disruptive morning for everyone. Lawn Primary and Copperfield Academy got these emails. St Boltoph C.E Primary and Shears Green Infant School were also affected. Eight schools had this issue.
Some schools shut down for a bit. They told parents to grab kids or keep them home. Safety was their big worry.
Later that day, the police caught someone. They arrested a 17-year-old girl from Gravesend for suspected harassment. Police arrested a 17-year-old boy from Finchley later, on February 15th. He is also linked to the incident.
Both teens are out on bail now. But, they must return to the police station. The investigation is still underway at the moment.
A police chief, Will Lay, spoke about it. He said community safety is the top thing and that they reacted fast to the school reports. He said the email probably wasn’t a real threat, but it caused a lot of worry and disruption. People were understandably concerned.
Lay hopes the arrests reassure everyone. They are still figuring out what happened, trying to get all the facts.
