A teen refugee’s performance highlighted Ipswich’s Big Valentine’s Ball. The event raised £8,000 for local refugees.

A Kurdish refugee from Ipswich performed at the ball. His name is Daryas, and he is still very young. He sang three traditional songs. George Fothergill assisted Daryas with the music.
DPL Group and Friel organized the Valentine’s ball together. The event raised £8,000 for a local charity. Suffolk Refugee Support benefited. The charity helps refugees in the area.
Suffolk Refugee Support will use the money to help refugees. They will provide food and school uniforms. They will also assist with employment and English lessons. The charity was very grateful for the donation.
