A teenager arrested over alleged firearms threat to schools in Forres, Inverness, Nairn, and Auldearn has been released.

It started on Friday, February 28th. Police showed up big time in Forres, checking out school threats. Police say they released a teenager while they keep investigating.
The email also went to schools elsewhere, including Inverness, Nairn, and Auldearn. They aren’t sure about the gun threat, but a 19-year-old got arrested about it.
The police verified the teen is out now, but they are still looking into things. The email went out around 8:20 AM on February 28th and caused quite a stir with the schools.
Cops say there’s likely no current danger. Still, tell cops if you’re worried. These false alarms really waste police time and upset people unnecessarily.
