Dashcam video captured something wild. A teenager ran and jumped on a car. The car was moving slowly.

Friends were walking past when one pointed at the car. The driver was carefully moving it as the friends walked closer. One friend rolled across the hood.

He walked away like he was hurt, holding himself and claiming injury. He said the car hit him, but the driver felt relieved because the camera recorded everything.

The video shows four teens, three boys and a girl. They targeted Alan Watling, who is 77 years old and had just visited his flat in Maidstone, Kent.

He drove past the group and then parked his Ford Focus near Maidstone Barracks station. The girl pointed at his stopped car before a boy ran and jumped.

He rolled across the car’s hood, limped, and held his butt, acting like he was badly injured. Mr. Watling, who lives nearby in Allington, says he did not provoke them.

He drove past them initially, and everything seemed fine until he stopped to check on the flat. He pulled into the area and stopped when a young man ran fast toward him.

The girl in red told him to go, gesturing with her hand as the boy jumped on the hood. Mr. Watling got out of his car and asked, “What’s the matter?”

The boy replied, “You hit me!” repeating it several times. Mr. Watling told them about the camera, at which point the boy yelled, “Paedo, paedo!”

They stayed around for a short time. Then, after three minutes passed, the group left.

Mr. Watling feels annoyed by this incident, which happened on Wednesday at 2:30 PM. He is happy to have dashcam video because it shows what really occurred.

He said it wasn’t nice and wonders what could have happened after that. He felt philosophical at first, but now it annoys him quite a bit.

He wondered about the potential results if he had no video, as he could have been in trouble. He wonders too if the teen wanted money, which would have been attempted fraud.

The Sun asked Kent Police for their comments.
