A 16-year-old girl is in critical condition after a car crash near Elkstone. Three other teens were injured; one arrested.

A sixteen-year-old girl was badly hurt. Police gave her first aid at the scene and waited for the ambulance. Paramedics and fire services also arrived, and she was taken to Southmead Hospital in very serious condition.
A seventeen-year-old boy injured his leg, while a fourteen-year-old girl hurt her hand and leg. Both teens went to the hospital for treatment. Police arrested a seventeen-year-old boy from Stroud.
The arrested boy is suspected of drunk driving and dangerous driving. Police are still investigating the crash and have released him pending further inquiries.
The road was closed during the investigation but is now open again. Police are asking witnesses to come forward and are also seeking dashcam footage of the car from before the crash.
