A boy, age sixteen, died after a shooting. The incident happened in Clapham. It occurred yesterday afternoon.

Police got a call around 3:20 PM on March 4. The report mentioned a shooting on Paradise Road, near Stockwell station. When officers arrived, London’s Air Ambulance also went, and London Ambulance Service crews helped too.

Sadly, the sixteen-year-old boy died at the scene. He was pronounced dead there. Police are trying to identify the boy to inform his family.

So far, they have not arrested anyone. Superintendent Gabriel Cameron, who leads the local police, spoke about the event, knowing the community feels shocked. His thoughts are with the boy’s family now, as it is a very sad time for them all.

Local officers are on site now. They are getting CCTV footage and talking to people who saw it. Homicide investigators will soon help. Cameron said they will work hard to find those responsible and will work non-stop on this case.

A crime scene is set up, and cordons are in place. Emergency services are still investigating, and police say the investigation continues.
