An 18-year-old was discovered deceased at Stirling University housing. Police are investigating the unexplained death.

Emergency services rushed there Friday afternoon. Police got a call about a sudden death around 2:20 PM. It was at Alexander Court in Bridge of Allan. Stirling University owns the flats there.
Police said an 18-year-old man was found dead. They’re calling the death unexplained right now. They are still looking into it. It doesn’t seem like anything suspicious happened.
The university is helping police and supporting students and staff. They said their thoughts are with the family.
Police confirmed the details and said they got the call Friday, February 7, 2025. The death is unexplained, but not suspicious. A report is going to the Procurator Fiscal.
First-year students can stay in Alexander Court, which is near Sheriffmuir Road and the campus. The university website lists flat costs at about £121 to £136 a week. Flats have single rooms, and students share shower rooms; housekeeping helps.
