Teynham couple praises emergency services after their baby girl was born on Upper St Anne’s Road in Faversham.

Lisa and her husband, Ant, hurried to go to the hospital, but they realized they wouldn’t make it and pulled over in Faversham on Upper Saint Anne’s Road; the couple then called for help at 4:30 p.m.
Ant talked to Charlotte Davis, an emergency advisor, who told them to stay calm and wait for the ambulance. Several people arrived at the roadside, including paramedics Kenneth Martin and Craig Stoneman.
Also present was Samuel Burnard, a trainee, and Robert Truzzi-Franconi, an advanced paramedic along with Peter Neal, an emergency care worker. They quickly helped Lisa into the ambulance, and Imogen was born, healthy and safe, inside it.
Lisa greatly appreciated their help and felt grateful they came so fast; she felt the experience was amazing. Lisa and Imogen went to a hospital, the QEQM hospital in Margate, to get checked before going home.
Five weeks later, Imogen met the team again at SECAmb’s Medway Centre with her parents and brother, Vincent. They all held the baby.
Charlotte Davis remembered the call and said Lisa was amazing and expressed that she felt honored to help Imogen arrive. Kenneth Martin also felt privileged to help bring Imogen into the world and enjoyed seeing them again.
