London bus routes get new timetables from this Saturday aiming to improve frequency and reliability on key services.

These timetable changes mean better bus service, aiming to improve how often buses run and their reliability. The changes affect many routes across London. Routes 8, 25, and 31 will now have more frequent buses. Routes 276 and 487 will have adjusted times, matching current road traffic better.
Route 499 has extra trips only on school days. Route 8 gets a brand new timetable and will run to Bow Church again. Route 25 also has a new timetable for every day; buses will come every 7-8 minutes on weekdays, every 10 minutes in the evenings and on Sundays.
Route 31 also has a new timetable every day of the week. Buses will arrive about every 10 minutes during the day, and roughly every 12 minutes at night. Route 187 will have a new timetable across the week, running every 15 minutes during the day and every 20 minutes in the evening and on Sundays.
Route 205 gets a similar change with a brand new timetable. Buses will arrive about every 10 minutes during daytime hours and every 12 minutes otherwise. Route 233 has a revised schedule with minor time tweaks.
Route 260 is now every 12 minutes on weekdays, and every 15 minutes for evening and Sunday services. Route 275 changes focus on current traffic, as does Route 276, running about every 12 minutes usually, with Sunday daytime and evenings every 15 and 20 minutes.
Route 487 will likewise get a new, changed timetable. Buses will run every twelve minutes on weekdays and every 20 mins evenings and Sundays. Route 499 has added school trips during school days at 7:40 a.m., and one from Heath at 2:35 p.m. R70 changes to reflect traffic patterns at certain parts of the day.
