TfL proposes a new Abbey Wood to North Greenwich Superloop route and seeks public feedback by April 13.

This Superloop addition aids Thamesmead’s regeneration plans and supports the proposed DLR extension. The new service might be called SL11 eventually, and Route 472 would be renumbered for this, becoming an express route.
The changes speed up travel and provide faster links to different transport options, including Elizabeth line, DLR, and the Underground. It would connect to the existing Superloop at Abbey Wood and Thamesmead.
A bus journey costs just £1.75, giving unlimited journeys within one hour. Remember to touch in when boarding the buses.
A Greenwich councillor supports faster buses and wants more public transport use to help cut carbon emissions. They aim to reach net zero by 2030 and encourage everyone to give feedback.
The first Superloop phase finished last year, creating a 138km network. Nine routes are currently running, and the SL4 route launches on April 7, connecting Canary Wharf and Grove Park.
The mayor promised Superloop expansion, called Superloop 2, which should double the network size. Several new routes are planned, including SL11 and SL12, subject to review, with SL12 linking Rainham, Ferry Lane, and Gants Hill.
TfL says buses are affordable and green. They will work closely with boroughs, ensuring these routes serve all communities.
