Will Glass noticed path problems near his home in 2022. Thames Water engineers found a pipe issue then. The path keeps sinking and is also becoming uneven. Swindon Council fixes it often.

Glass believes that the situation is unfair. He feels that Thames Water is responsible because the underlying issue has not been fixed. Thames Water should address the problem.

Glass stated that they cleared sanitary towels two years ago. Then, they used a camera to check the pipe. An engineer told him the drain collapsed, and sewage goes into the earth. The engineer would report this, but no one fixed it after that.

The council repaired the path before Christmas, but the path keeps sinking. The path has to be safe, so he called Thames Water again. Another engineer used a camera and again said the drain collapsed; he would report it too.

Glass contacted Thames Water days later. The problem was mentioned, but not officially reported, so the issue will not be fixed quickly. Maybe they avoid this issue, since it is costly.

The sewage line is very old. Glass says that Thames Water avoids the issue and puts profit above customers. The path will collapse again soon, and the council wastes money on constant repairs.

Thames Water checked the sewer and found tarmac and rubble. A third party placed these items there. They cleared out the debris and plan regular cleaning and checks later. Swindon Council declined to comment at this time.
