A third man is arrested in Suffolk, suspected in a series of Hampshire burglaries where jewelry was stolen. Investigation ongoing.

The arrest followed six burglaries that occurred in January. Police believe these burglaries are linked. The first occurred on January 21 in Kings Worthy, at Mount Pleasant, between 8:45 am and 3:15 pm. Jewelry was stolen after the house was searched.
The next burglary occurred on January 21 in Winchester, on Goring Field, between 3 pm and 7:30 pm. Once again, jewelry was stolen from the house. A third burglary also happened on January 21, this time on Cundell Way, Kings Worthy, around 7 pm, and jewelry disappeared.
Two days later, on January 23, another break-in occurred on Harp Avenue, Alton. Gold and jewelry vanished between 5:30 pm and 7 pm. Another burglary was discovered on January 25 at Puttenham Road, Basingstoke, lasting until January 26 at 10 am. Jewelry was once again stolen.
The final reported burglary also occurred on Puttenham Road, stretching from January 25 to January 27. However, this particular burglary yielded no stolen items. The 27-year-old man received bail with conditions, and further inquiries are pending.
Two men were arrested earlier in Oxford on Monday, January 27. They also received bail with conditions. The police investigation continues.
