Residents of Pentland View enjoyed a delightful Valentine’s tea dance with staff, family, and festive decorations.
Jeanine, the activities coordinator, wore a special dress. Some ladies wore sparkly red clothes. They decorated the lounge with Valentine’s stuff. The residents picked out china tea sets.
They used them for the party which made it extra special. The kitchen made cakes plus party snacks. They served tea and coffee in the fancy china.
Jeanine and some ladies danced around the lounge. They also had a photo booth for fun! Jeanine said shopping for the tea sets was fun. She hopes the residents enjoyed the party.
The aim was to celebrate all kinds of love. Pentland View is run by Barchester Healthcare. The care home cares for forty-seven residents.
They offer different kinds of care too. Some residents are Sandra, Reena, Marion, Isabella Kay, and Isabella Trueman.
