Toffs of Muswell Hill Claims Top 10 Spot at 2025 Fry Awards

Toff’s got a Fry Award. It’s one of the UK’s top ten chippies. Fry Magazine gives out these awards, and they’ve been doing it for thirteen years. The magazine names top takeaways and restaurants.

Judges visited anonymously for months, checking food, cleanliness, and staff. They looked at value, ordering ease, and social media.

Christopher Georgiou manages Toff’s. He says they are honored by the award and thanked his team for excellent work. Long-time team members helped build Toff’s.

Toff’s also could win another award soon. They are a finalist for “Restaurant of the Year.” The National Fish & Chip Awards happen February 26.

Andreas Toffalis founded Toff’s in 1968. He won an award back in 1988. George and Costas Georgiou took over in 1999. George sadly died in 2020.

Chesterford Group bought Toff’s in March 2024. They run Churchill’s and Bankers. Paul Goodgame manages the Chesterford Group and feels very proud of the Toff’s team.

Goodgame thanked customers for their support. The team and customers made this happen, making Toff’s a great place for fish and chips.
