Morrisons wants new stuff in its car park. They want a WeBuyAnyCar pod installed and also an Autoglass repair pod. The Cwmbran store plans these changes, which would use 86.2 square metres. One full-time and two part-time jobs exist. The pods could open 6 AM to 10 PM on weekdays, and Sundays and holidays would be 10 AM to 4 PM. Signs for both places will not be lit up.

A builder wants to tweak their housing plans. Taylor Wimpey wants changes approved for a 143-home complex with retail space off Cwmbran Drive. They seek to swap some old drawings for new plans showing landscape and canal paths. The original plan passed back in 2019, and the home number won’t change.

A radio station wants solar panels. Able Radio, in Upper Cwmbran, plans black panels on their slate roof. The panels can make 0.02 megawatts. Their managing director submitted the plan. Able Radio helps folks with disabilities and started broadcasting back in 2006.

Someone in Pontypool wants to add an extension to help with disabled access. Peri Walmsley lives on School Road. They plan a side extension to their place and want a new porch built. They will raise the patio for easier access and add disabled facilities inside.

A golf club wants solar panels too. Llanyravon Golf Club is in Cwmbran. They seek panels for the clubhouse roof. The panels are black and set in frames and should produce 0.02 megawatts.

A man seeks to build a home extension. Damian Nicolaou wants to add to his house at 284 Llantarnam Road. He wants to build a rear extension only. It won’t involve building demolition, but it changes the roof.

A Chinese takeaway wants new signs. Jing Wang wants to change signs outside at 17 North Walk. They want an illuminated sign installed and also a lit box that projects. LED lights will be inside the signs. Black text shows on an orange background, and they are aluminum boxes, painted black.
The signs stay lit, without flashing, and more full-time staff will be added there.

A social club also wants solar panels. Llanyravon Community Association applied for panels at their center on Llanyravon Way. The solar panels will be on the roof. The panels can make 0.04 megawatts and are black and in steel frames.
