Trespass incident caused delays and cancellations on South Western Railway. Lines reopened, residual delays expected.

South Western Railway said this blocked all the train lines. The problem started around 11:50 am, and trains were running slower afterward. Expect longer trips and possible cancellations.
You might have seen delays or changes, and Brockenhurst passengers had it tough. The lines reopened around 12:25 pm; however, delays could last until 2 pm.
SWR suggested asking staff for help at the station and apologized for any trouble caused. Traveline.info has local bus info, if needed, but SWR tickets might not work there automatically.
If your train was late, check SWR’s delay refund policy on their website. You can also call 0345 6000 650 to share thoughts about the trains; the website gives other ways to contact SWR too.
It’s worth noting that A&T asked the police about the track issue. Hopefully, things will get back to normal very soon.
