A young teacher’s sudden death sparks tributes. A fundraiser honors her with a rose garden at her school.

People remember Emily as kind and caring. She was also described as beautiful and made a big difference to her students. Her boyfriend, Jack Weston, wanted to honor her by organizing a fundraiser for a rose garden at Gladstone Primary School.
The fundraiser exceeded its goal of £15,000. Family and friends contributed, raising over £16,000 so far. Many fundraising activities are planned.
Emily loved music and travel. Friends mentioned trips to Cornwall and dancing at Glastonbury. Jack will do a triathlon and marathon, including a 280km bike ride. Katie and friends will also participate in ultra marathons and triathlons.
Emily graduated from Cardiff University with a criminology degree and a master’s in psychology. She then became a teacher. Gladstone Primary deeply mourns her loss and wants the garden to be a special place where children can learn and grow, reflecting Emily’s nurturing spirit.
