People really like Bode, the bobcat. They helped raise money for his new home. He is living at Tropiquaria Zoo now.

The zoo wanted £3,500 to keep Bode. He was saved after a big cat place closed. The court case meant he was facing being put down. Online, nearly £5,000 came in. Almost two hundred people donated. That is way more than the original goal.

Chris Moiser is fixing up a space for Bode. It needs some work to make it great. The size is good for Bode, though. Two old raccoon dogs live there now. They don’t need the space anymore. Their kids are grown, so they’ll move soon.

Tropiquaria Zoo took Bode in, thankfully. He almost got put down after the sanctuary shut. People are so happy. More money will help Bode even more. They can add cool things to his new home.

A water feature would be amazing for him. Bobcats like to play with water. The zoo needs rocks for it too. They are hoping someone can donate some nice, natural rocks.

Another fundraiser is for the zoo’s winter costs. It has gotten over £11,000 so far. That will really help them out. Fewer people visited last summer. Rising business costs also hurt them. Higher insurance and wages made things tough.
