Police seek witnesses after a hit and run in Trowbridge. A 19-year-old was hit, left injured, and the driver fled the scene.

The driver then got out of their car. After exiting, the driver dragged him to a tree. Then, without a word, the driver sped off. The victim’s mother shared the awful incident, noting that her son was lucky to stay conscious.
She said he called for help after the impact. No one came, which adds to the tragedy. Cars drove by, but no one stopped to assist. He felt alone, confused, and lucky to live, having fractured his leg. They feel grateful it wasn’t a fatal injury.
Police in Wiltshire want to find witnesses, too. Police said a car hit the pedestrian on Holbrook Lane around 7:30 pm that Friday. The driver left the injured man by a tree without offering their personal details.
Did you see anything happen? Maybe you have dash cam footage of it? The police encourage the driver to come forward, and really want to hear from you. You can call 101 and quote log number 54250016354. To stay secret, call Crimestoppers at 0800 555111.
The victim says the car was small and dark, looking like a hatchback driven by one person. The mother hates that nobody helped her son, and the driver left him hurt in the cold, wet night. Her son now has a fractured fibula, making him now unable to go to his job.
They only want any helpful information about the car. Any video footage might show the vehicle involved. They hope someone will come forward soon.
