Road work starts to enhance streets. Closures and limits are expected. Project runs for a year in phases.

The council will also resurface the road at three spots later. This will occur between 7 PM and midnight. The project has three parts spread over a year.
Phase one occurs on The Halve and runs from February to March 25. Phase two focuses on Roundstone Street, happening from April to July. The last phase finishes work from October 2025 to March 2026.
Work happens Monday to Saturday, 7 AM to 7 PM. From February 10 to March 25, things will change. The Halve closes from Duke Street to Hilperton Road, and Hilperton Road roundabout’s outside lane also closes.
Locals might face temporary access limits due to work on the site. The council will tell businesses ahead of time, aiming to cause as little trouble as possible.
Walking paths stay open for people, and traffic helpers will guide both drivers and walkers. They will help people get where they need to go. Traffic control will be there all day to keep everyone safe during the project.
More info on traffic and road work is coming soon. Details about the next phases will be shared later, ensuring everyone stays informed. The goal is to minimize any problems during construction.
