Hey, something sad happened. Evan d’Andilly passed away recently. He was only nineteen years old. Evan was a student at York University. He came from Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire.

They found his body in the River Ouse. This happened in York city center. It was Wednesday, March 5th. The university staff are very upset and are helping students and staff.

The university shared their shock and sadness. They are thinking of Evan’s family and friends. North Yorkshire Police also made a statement, and Evan’s family provided a photo. They asked for privacy to grieve.

Police don’t suspect foul play. They are preparing a report for the coroner. The police are asking for witnesses; did you see anything or have dashcam footage?
