A person is fighting for their life after an incident at Upminster station, causing c2c line delays and cancellations.
Something happened at Upminster train station today. It took place around 8 AM on February 20th. Police got a call about someone hurt on the tracks. They found a badly injured person there.
Paramedics rushed that person to the hospital. Their injuries could be life-threatening, sadly. The British Transport Police investigated the incident.
They do not think anything suspicious happened. Trains on the c2c line face delays and cancellations. Overhead wires also sustained some damage. Police responded to the emergency quickly.
Paramedics were also present at the scene. The ambulance service arrived soon after the call. The London Ambulance Service sent many people. This included paramedics and a special team.
They even sent the air ambulance trauma team by car. The first paramedics arrived in about three minutes. They treated a man for his injuries. Then, they took him to a major trauma center right away.
