Valentine’s Day Shooting: Tributes Left at Knockholt Pub as Probe Continues

Hey, something awful happened. A woman died near a pub on Valentine’s Day. People left flowers and other things there as a memorial. This happened at The Three Horseshoes in Knockholt, near Sevenoaks.

Police are looking for someone. Gunshots were heard while people ate dinner, and one person heard loud bangs around 7 PM. The woman was in her 40s and had local ties, but wasn’t from Kent; she died right there.

Police are investigating this murder and think the suspect knew her. He might have gone into the River Thames. They found a car and a gun at Dartford Crossing, and these were linked to what happened.

Someone reported seeing a man on the wrong side of the barrier, leading police to believe the suspect might have entered the water. They are only looking for one suspect and don’t believe the public is still in danger.

Detectives are helping the families. A blue tent was near the pub after it happened. Main Road and Pound Lane were closed off, but not anymore. The pub will open again, but just for locals, and people began leaving tributes yesterday.
