A woman in her 40s was shot at a pub on Valentine’s Day. The attacker is on the loose. Police are investigating.

Police went to the Three Horseshoes pub on Main Road in Knockholt, Kent, after receiving a call about a problem around 7 PM. Police and ambulance workers arrived quickly and found a woman in her 40s with major injuries from the shooting.
The man likely knew the woman, and he ran away before police arrived at the pub. Police are still searching for him.
One man’s daughter was at the pub, and he told KentOnline that someone had been shot. Steve Maines, a local council member, also heard shots fired.
Maines told BBC they ate a Valentine’s meal and then heard a big noise outside. Someone said a person was shot, so they had to leave.
Kent Police started looking for the suspect and are investigating every aspect of this attack. Police received a call at 7:02 PM on February 14, 2025, reporting a disturbance at the pub.
