Police fear a tragic murder-suicide took place. Lisa Smith, age 43, was shot dead at a pub in Kent on Valentine’s Day. Officers are searching for Edvard Stockings, Lisa’s husband and the prime suspect.

Police think Stockings may have jumped off a bridge after being seen near the Dartford Crossing. An abandoned car and gun were found nearby on the QE2 bridge. Police do not believe the public is at risk and are supporting both families.

Lisa was at the pub with a friend when witnesses heard gunshots outside. Emergency services declared Lisa dead at the scene. Tributes are pouring in for Lisa, and her son, Teejay Smith, shared photos, calling her “the best woman.”

People left flowers and tributes, with one card expressing love and prayers for the family, mentioning her sons and granddaughter. Other cards simply said, “Dear Lisa, rest in peace.” People also left Red Bull.

One person who knew Lisa from Lingfield said she was a wonderful mum and a beautiful woman, adding that she had just had a granddaughter. Another mourner called her a “great woman,” and balloons saying “a wonderful mum” were also present.

The pub’s landlady, Michelle Thomas, described hearing two bangs while printing menus. She then saw screaming, shouting, and crying as people rushed inside for safety; about fifty people were there that evening.

Locals heard three loud bangs, and some couples were locked in the pub as police secured the area. Zack Warne called the event shocking, while Joyce Betts locked her doors and windows. Armed police were present at the pub.

Ray Picot heard the shots just after 7pm, initially thinking it was a car crash. The pub released a statement after the shooting, sending condolences to the family and offering support for the community.
