Vendors praised Worcester residents for being open-minded. One vendor called Worcester the best place for this market, believing people gladly try new vegan products.

Food included Indian dishes, cakes in jars, vegan cheeses, and scones. African meals were also offered to shoppers.

Zita Vimi owns Sophie’s Delight, selling vegan cheese. She said they travel all over the UK, and this was their fifth time in Worcester. People showed them love, even non-vegans.

Taylor Huxster works for Good Carma Foods, which sells cashew-based cheeses. He said markets help vegan businesses, and veganism is more mainstream now. Worcester has many vegan places, even more than Birmingham.

Shani Gabbidon’s company, IUVO, sells self-care items. These include washes, oils, soaps, and shampoo. Her mother started the business ten years ago, creating products for her sensitive skin.

Her mother had eczema, psoriasis, and cancer treatment. Shani is happy her mother helps others now, and the rain did not stop people visiting.

Gemma King praised the vegan market. She likes trying new things, and her partner is vegetarian. She was happy to buy homemade items.
