Basingstoke Mencap seeks volunteers for its Greenfingers horticultural therapy project. Help people with learning disabilities!

Greenfingers is at the Elizabeth Road allotment in South Ham. People grow flowers, fruits, and vegetables, and they also create wooden items. They sell these at sale mornings.
Basingstoke Mencap wants more Greenfingers volunteers because the project helps people grow and gain confidence. Volunteers truly make it all possible.
Greenfingers runs each weekday from 10 AM to 3 PM, and they offer flexible volunteering options. You do not need gardening skills; enthusiasm and care matter most.
Volunteers find the work rewarding. Philly Bignall sees the progress and skills learned, noting that everyone feels welcome and has fun.
Mencap helps people with learning disabilities and aims to give them better lives. Greenfingers offers safe and fun activities, allowing people to stay active and gain independence.
You can volunteer for a full day, a half day, or even a couple of hours per week. Call Noelia at 01256 361964 or email her at noelia@basingstokemencap.org.uk.
