Connor and Nicole Galbraith opened Wacky Playland in Weavers Wharf. The center aims to boost family activities in Kidderminster.

The couple wanted a place for families, as they noticed the town lacked children’s activities. The community helped them create Wacky Playland.
Mr. Galbraith said they care about the town and hopes Wacky Playland becomes a family favorite. They saved money for years and invested it all in this project.
The center launched with two parties. The couple thanked the community for its support, as families enjoyed time together there and children explored and had fun.
Bluey and Sonic met the kids at the parties. There was face painting, arts, and games too, plus they also held fun competitions for all.
The owners plan future upgrades, including the sensory room and baby facilities. Plus, they’re planning even more events.
The support has been overwhelming, they said, promising families more at Wacky Playland. They are adding to the sensory room soon, and baby changing areas are also coming.
They are grateful for the community support. This play center is their first business, and they are excited about the future.
Becoming parents inspired the Galbraiths, who have two kids, Reece and Isla. They hope this business improves the area and want to help other local shops.
The Wacky Playland hours are 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Saturday. Sunday hours are 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM. They also have a cafe inside that keeps the same hours as the play area.
