A fire at 900 Cafe in Wallingford has closed St Mary’s Street. Firefighters responded and are investigating the cause.

The cafe’s Facebook says it was closed for holiday. This closure started on January 22nd. An eyewitness stated everyone is safe. Both the coffee shop and a nursery were affected. The high street remains closed.
Runwize Sports confirmed the 900 Cafe fire. The staff member didn’t see it happen. St Mary’s Street stays closed for everyone.
The fire service got the call at 7:23 AM on Wednesday, February 12th. Fire engines came from four towns: Didcot, Abingdon, Slade, and Kidlington. A platform came from Oxford.
Firefighters saw roof smoke and flames. They entered with hoses and breathing gear. The fire was between floors one and two. Firefighters put out the fire. They are investigating the cause now.
Wallingford Town Council posted about the fire. They said the fire is now out. However, the building is being assessed before reopening. Reporters have contacted 900 Cafe.
