Jardin Mexican bar opens Jardin Express next month. Fusion street food available-Mexican, Indian and Asian.

It will be like a market stall where they’ll sell fusion street food. Think Mexican mixed with Indian and Asian food, according to co-owner Aly Ladha.
Aly and his partner, Rahim, hope it attracts customers and encourages people to visit the main Jardin restaurant. Aly said authentic Mexican food is new to the UK, but the street food will be less traditional to appeal to more people.
This gives them a hint of Jardin’s flavors and might encourage them to eat there. Aly described the first six months as a ride, but most of it, happily, was good times. He said bringing real Mexican food to Watford is fun but tricky.
The building itself has caused some issues. Colombia Press had been empty, and the heating didn’t work after renovations. The leaky roof was also a problem.
Looking forward, they plan to revamp the menu next year. This includes new tacos, seafood, and vegan dishes. Aly wants Jardin involved in the community and hopes to teach tortilla-making classes.
Some people doubt the business’ future. But, Aly says they are staying put and aren’t going anywhere.
