James, Cammie, and Joe got silver medals. They are best friends in the West Alloa Scout Group. The boys joined the group when they were six. They started as Beavers and moved up. Now, they’re ready to be Scouts.

Gayle Mellor is proud of the trio. She is an assistant leader at West Alloa. Gayle said this award is the highest for Cub Scouts, and the boys have finished Cubs now. They’ve been together for a long time, since age six.

The friends grew up together and are very close. The boys earned badges to get their awards. They studied science, religion, and the outdoors. They showed teamwork in their last test by leading groups in tasks.

The boys camped overnight over the years and did a lot during their time in Cubs. Now, they earned all their badges. George Burnett gave them certificates as well as silver badges; he is a district commissioner.

The friends might have to go to Alva or Tullibody since Alloa does not have a Scout section. Gayle said they need to look into where the boys can go. She said the boys are great and will be missed each week, having done very well.
