Music, comedy, film showings, art exhibits, and a valuation event fill the week in West Berkshire and nearby Oxford.

Lucy Porter has a comedy show tomorrow at Arlington Arts. It is about regrets, where she talks about mistakes she made and wonders how life would change. She thinks about collective regrets and how to change them. The show starts at 8pm.
A new Bridget Jones film, “About the Boy,” is showing. It plays at the Corn Exchange from tomorrow until March 6. Renée Zellweger returns as Bridget, who is now a widow; Mark died four years ago. She has two children and tries dating apps, where a younger man pursues her.
A children’s show called “Four Seasons” will play at the Corn Exchange from tomorrow to Sunday. It is a show about nature, and it features puppetry and clowning.
Yinka Shonibare’s print exhibit, “Ritual Ecstasy of the Modern,” at The Base Greenham, closes Sunday. The prints celebrate cultural identity. You can make woodblock rubbings there, and watch a film about the artist while listening to a related podcast.
Jonathan Freestone has a new art exhibit, “Horizons,” which opens tomorrow at the New Era Theatre Foyer. Meet the artist Friday, 7-9pm, or Saturday, March 1 or 22, 10:30am-12noon. He paints landscapes on plywood.
“Chicago” is playing at New Theatre Oxford, starting Monday, starring Faye Brookes, Brenda Edwards, and Kevin Clifton. It features songs like “Razzle Dazzle”. Do not miss the great musical.
