A group will get over £25,000. The North Ayrshire Ventures Trust (NAVT) is providing the money, and these funds will arrive over the next two years. This group created Scotland’s only craft town.

The money pays for a part-time finance manager. This person will help the group stay strong. WKCIL offers nine craft studios at lower costs, providing businesses space to earn money there.

They also run the Barony Centre, which has a great cafe and hosts events. Artists like this space a lot. The group further supports other local groups, including the environment group. WKCIL runs a media studio where people can learn audio-visual skills.

The finance manager is very important. They will track income and expenses, monitor deficits, and provide training to both new and current volunteers.

West Kilbride Community Initiative got the NAVT funding and will use it to pay for the finance manager. They appreciate the support and want to help West Kilbride.
