Here’s the latest on Leeds planning applications. These were on the council website recently.

In Calverley & Farsley, people want to work on trees at St John’s Parish Church on Old Road. Someone wants a garage beside 11 Keldholme Close, while another wants to convert a garage at 5 Lodge Road. A house at 17 Wadlands Drive wants lots of changes, including a new window and extensions.

Horsforth has a lot happening. One place at 22 Oliver Hill wants a bigger extension and to change a window too. Tree works are planned near 44 Woodway and 53 Scotland Way. A roof style may change at 2 Calverley Lane, and someone wants an extension and porch at 211 Hall Lane.

Some conifers may come down at 4 Far Reef Close. A garage conversion with windows is planned at 15 The Avenue. Someone wants to tear down a garage at 8 Newlay Wood Close and build a side extension. A side extension is also planned for 6 Brodrick Drive.

Kirkstall applications include new signs at Burger King near Kirkstall Retail Park unit 1. Leeds Rhinos training academy needs some approvals on Bridge Road. People want to convert loft space at 2 Moor Grange View. Internal work is proposed at 1 Victoria Terrace, and someone wants confirmation on multi-tenant use at Kirkstall Hill.

Pudsey’s Coach House Farm needs approval for something at 180 Smalewell Road. A dormer extension is planned at 38 Radcliffe Lane. A salon might become a cafe at 17 Lowtown. A new house with parking is planned near 174 Acres Hall Avenue.

Leeds Council made some planning decisions this week. Armley Park Court needs approval, related to a prior application at Stanningley Road. Leeds Industrial Museum wants heat pumps, requiring a frame and railing on Canal Road. They also need listed building approval for this work.

Calverley & Farsley had a few decisions; approvals were needed at 67 Woodhall Road. A garage conversion is approved at 1 Hollin Park Drive, becoming part of the house. A dormer window is approved at 27 Low Bank Street. Changes at 34 Woodhall Park Avenue got approved, involving a porch and extensions. A side extension got accepted at 17 Highfield Crescent.

A rear extension is approved for 6 Whincover Mount. The Farnley Academy’s application at Chapel Lane needs an okay. A rear extension is lawful at 10 Kellett Walk. A side and rear extension is approved at 830 Tong Road. Woodcock Farm needs another okay to move forward. This farm sits on Back Lane; Appletree Cottage also needs further approval on Gildersome Lane.

Horsforth saw action too. Tree work is approved at Garden House on Outwood Lane. Extensions and a garage conversion got approved for 27 St Margaret’s Road. A two-story extension is approved at 1A Park Grove. A garage roof change is approved at 92 West End Drive.

Rawdon Road needs a dormer and extensions at The Meadows. More floors will be added at 28 Knoll Wood Park. Solar panels are approved at 3 Woodlands Drive. A garage to therapy room change is approved at 2 Broadgate Drive.

Pudsey also had some rulings. Tree work is approved at The Willows on Lane End Mount. Existing use got approved for some land off Roker Lane. Creating two flats is approved at 11 Chapeltown.
