Westbury will get a banking hub this April. It offers counter services and private meeting rooms for banking needs.

Big banks left town years ago. Barclays closed doors in 2018. Lloyds shut down in 2019. Nick Quin spoke about the hub last year. He said they were glad to recommend the hub.
Many people prefer cash for banking. Communities needing cash services can contact LINK. LINK can assess the need for new services.
Andrew Murrison is happy about the hub. He says people need counter services. Not everyone likes online or cashless banking.
Banking hubs are shared banking spaces. They work like normal bank branches. Calne and Royal Wootton Bassett already have hubs.
The hub will have a Post Office counter. Anyone can deposit and withdraw cash there. People can also pay bills at the counter.
Private rooms allow talks with bankers. They can discuss complex issues in private. Bankers from different banks will rotate. Different banks will have staff there on different days.
LINK recommends banking hubs. A community can request a hub. Hubs can also follow bank branch closures.
