Kyle Miller jailed six months after abusing a Tesco worker and then urinating in a police cell in Wick.

A Tesco worker saw Miller drinking beer, which he had just purchased. The employee confronted him about it on December 11. Miller reacted badly to the worker’s words.
Miller threatened to punch him. Another Tesco employee joined them, and they both tried to reason with Miller. Miller said it was Christmas and told them he would drink.
Police arrived after someone contacted them. Police arrested Miller and took him away, placing him in a cell at the police station. Officers then heard him urinating.
The urine spread onto the corridor floor, requiring an officer to clean it up quickly. Miller shouted abusive words at the staff, telling them to get a life. He pleaded guilty to the charges.
His lawyer, Alex Burn, spoke about Miller’s alcohol problem, saying Miller was very drunk. Miller now lives with his sister in Aberdeen.
Miller was already serving a sentence for a different crime entirely, having completed some of that sentence. The court heard his past record.
Sheriff Wilson said it hurt his case and that jail was the only option. The sheriff gave him six months, which Miller will serve alongside his other sentence.
