Burglars hit a Wilsden house at 4AM, stealing laptops, handbags, cash, and the keys to a Land Rover.

In October 2024, police arrested Cameron for burglary. He was already being checked for stolen goods. The court heard the details via video.
Cameron stole two bikes worth £2,350 in January 2023. He took them from a shed. Later, the owner saw his bike on Facebook Marketplace. The owner contacted the seller to see the bike.
The seller was Cameron, at his home. The owner knew it was his bike. He left and told the police. Police found both stolen bikes that day. They arrested Cameron later.
He was then released while they checked the stolen goods case. Over a year later, in October, Cameron burgled a house. He broke into the Wilsden home with two others. It was 4 AM.
The side door was open. A couple and their kids slept upstairs. The burglars stole laptops and handbags. They also took cash and car keys.
The Land Rover outside was worth £12,000. CCTV showed Cameron near the house. He put on a balaclava. Police arrested him in January of this year. Cameron said nothing to police.
Cameron had prior convictions for many crimes. These included burglary, theft, and assault. He also had a knife in public. That made him a third-strike burglar.
Cameron’s lawyer talked about his past. He said foster care caused instability. He argued Cameron has fetal alcohol syndrome disorder. This affected his decisions. The lawyer said it’s a turning point for Cameron.
He knows longer sentences await him. He is easily influenced by others. He wanted quick money from crime. The judge sentenced Cameron to prison.
It was 30 months for burglary and eight for theft. He added four months for handling stolen goods. The judge called the crimes serious. The judge noted the burglary happened at night. The family was home.
He mentioned Cameron had potential but chose crime. These acts cause harm to others. Cameron got a total of 34 months in prison.
He will serve around 40% before release. That means he’ll be in jail for over a year.
