Wiltshire Man Jailed for Horrific Sex Crimes Involving Children

Jason King is from North Ferriby. That’s in North Humberside. He admitted to serious crimes involving child abuse images, including the worst kind of images.

The crimes happened between November 2023 and May 2024. He stayed overnight in Chicklade, where he broke a court order. King had sexual chats with a child and talked to other sex offenders online, with very bad content in those chats.

A judge sentenced him on February 14. King got four and a half years in jail. After prison, he’ll be on licence for two and a half years.

He also has an ongoing court order. This order stops him from causing sexual harm, protecting the public. Detective Constable Anthony Swift spoke about the case stating police will enforce these orders to keep everyone safe.

King made and shared child abuse images and broke the Sexual Harm Prevention Order in Chicklade. These orders protect people from sexual harm and Swift said police strongly manage these orders, doing work that people don’t hear about.

King’s online chats were shocking; even experienced police were horrified. This information went to other police forces, leading to more arrests.
